Social housing remains at the heart of Réunion’s urban planning and development challenges. To inform discussions on the region’s needs and the solutions to be implemented, the’On June 10, 2026, ARMOS will host the second edition of the Social Housing Forum in Saint-Denis.
Under the theme «Working Together to Provide Better Housing for the People of Réunion», this event will bring together housing professionals, urban planning stakeholders, social housing providers, public policymakers, and those working on the ground.
The stated goal is to promote the exchange of experiences, the sharing of expertise, and the development of tailored solutions to the island’s current housing challenges.
The program includes roundtable discussions and debates focused on the sector’s major issues. These opportunities for discussion will allow participants to address the challenges currently facing social housing in Réunion and to contribute to the conversation about the future of housing.
In addition to the discussion sessions, the forum also aims to create opportunities for people to meet among the various stakeholders involved in the production, management, and planning of public housing.
This second edition is part of an effort to foster dialogue and cooperation among the stakeholders working to improve housing conditions for the people of Réunion.
The date has been set Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at MOCA, located at the Domaine de Montgaillard in Saint-Denis.
